current fav lippies

I have a few current favorite lipsticks that I have been obsessed with-some for months and some that were more recent finds. I wanted to share these amazing products with my lovely readers. Maybe we share some favorites? Or maybe you’ll find something new!

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick / Lolita

IMG_3282_Fotor.jpg

I’ve had this baby for a good few months and it might be my all time favorite formula/shade STILL. The formula is really what stands out-pigmented, glides smoothly on the lips, comfortable, not drying, and lasts for hours. It’s hard to find a matte lipstick that doesn’t dry the lips and this one is so easy on the lips. The shade is described as a “chestnut rose” on the Kat Von D website-it’s a gorgeous color. This lipstick retails for $20 and is 0.22 fl. Oz. A pricey lipstick but worth every dolla!

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick / Rum Raisin

IMG_3274_Fotor.jpg

An oldie but a goodie! Love this comfortable, creamy lipstick so much-it might be the longest favorite lippie that I own. The shade is a gorgeous reddish-brown. It’s a unique color and lovely on the lips. The soft formula glides on like butter on the lips and is moisturizing as well.  This is not as long lasting so it does need reapplication a few times throughout day-it has never bothered me though. I bought mine from Walmart for around $8 and it is .15 fl. Oz.

Colourpop’s Blotted Lips / On a Stick

IMG_3277_Fotor.jpg

Oooh this a new one and I did a more detailed review on the ColourPop’s Blotted Lips line. I have been going for this bright coral lippie almost every time I put on makeup. It complements a natural, glowy look so well. I usually don’t do bright shades on my lips but the great thing about this blotted lip range is how much control you have over pigmentation. You can make it as bright as you want or as subtle like a tint. It’s very weightless on the lips and lasts all day for me! This is 5 bucks a pop and is 0.035 oz.

Colourpop’s Lippie Stix / Lumiere Matte

Another Colourpop fav-I got this when it first came out and I believe this is my 3rd one…This is a mauve pink shade that looks good for any occasion. It’s so simple to apply and leaves a non-drying matte finish.  All of Colourpop’s Lippie Stix have amazing formulas and shades but this is one of the few that I have repurchased multiple times. I get this for $5 and has 0.035 oz. of product.

Too Faced Perfect Lips Lip Liner / Perfect Spice

IMG_3278_Fotor.jpg

IMG_2658_Fotor

My favorite lip liner shade of all time! It’s a neutral nude that looks great all over the lips and on its own. I actually use this on its own most of the time. It is a bit drying but some chapstick underneath or a gloss over will solve that! It also plumps up my lips a little and gives the illusion of fuller lips. These lip liners glide effortlessly and are rich in color-they have a berry shade that I really want as well. I bought mine at Sephora for around $15 and comes with 0.10 fl. Oz.

IMG_3271_Fotor.jpg

As you can tell, I love me some nudes and berry-toned lippies. What are your current favorite lipsticks?

may favs / 2017

another Month has whizzed by and I actually have some favorites this month! I don’t buy new products very often because I use the crap out of things that I find and love. So ya know that when I do a monthly favorites, I REALLY love them.

Aveeno SPF 30 Day Moisturizer

IMG_3192.jpgIMG_3193.jpg

I stopped using an SPF day moisturizer for some reason-I think it’s because I ran out of my previous one and totally forgot to repurchase one. But this month, I was super into slathering SPF on my face every day-especially after getting charbroiled  from Coachella. I like the SPF 30 and I also like how it’s not too sticky. It does take some time to dry on the skin but it doesn’t bother me. I have been using this every single morning and have been really loving it.

Real Techniques Dense Blending Brush

IMG_3195_Fotor.jpg

An oldie but a goodie! I stopped using my Real Techniques blending sponge because I found out how nicely this brush blends in my concealer! For some reason the sponge was just absorbing too much product (maybe I just need a new one lol) and this brush doesn’t pick up as much. I’ve tried using this brush with multiple concealers including the Urban Decay Skin concealer, the Tarte Shape Tape, and drugstore ones like the Rimmel Perfection concealer. They all give me such a concentrated beautiful finish when I use this brush. The coverage difference is very noticeable and leaves my skin looking flawless!

Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara

**forgot to take a pic of this!**

I actually had this for a few months but started using this more frequently this month. I ditched my usual eyeliner look and started doing mascara-only days. The tiny bristles on this mascara is perfect to really get into those baby bottom lashes. I also really enjoy the formula-definitely lengthens my stubby lashes. I even pop this on my upper lashes as well because of how precise the bristle is!

“Note to Self” Single Shadow from ColourPop

IMG_3194_Fotor.jpgIMG_3201_Fotor.jpg

Like I mentioned above, I have been going eyeliner-less lately and really only using one single shadow all over the lid and this baby is da one. It is a perfect transition or blending shade but I love it on it’s own. It gives a very neutral, soft, depth to the eyes and really compliments my monolids. The formula is amazing- I did a more comprehensive review on Colourpop’s single pressed eyeshadows if ya feel like taking a peek.

 Micron Pens for Bullet Journaling

Woo wee I found some amazing pens. The Micron Pens are a match made in heaven for people who love to doodle, journal, write, sketch, etc…These pens come in different sizes, dry fast, use archival ink, are smooth as butter, and are super reliable for those who are picky with their pens (aka me). I purchased mine from Michael’s for a decent price and have been using them religiously with my bullet journal. I don’t think I can ever go back to using generic pens…

Dainty Chokers / Necklaces

IMG_3196_Fotor.jpgIMG_3197.jpg

I rarely wear jewelry but after purchasing some neckwear for Coachella, I decided to utilize them in my day-to-day life. I love the thin, effortless look of dainty necklaces-they can really pull together an outfit that didn’t look so pulled together before. My sister got me the gold one with the solid rectangle (Urban Outfitters) and it is my most worn one. I like the length and simplicity. The others are chokers that I like to wear alone or layered. They are all so easy to wear and can be mix and matched-they also go with literally every outfit.

Silicone Face Cleanser

IMG_3199_Fotor.jpgIMG_3200.jpg

Found this little cutie at Daiso for around $2 and I have been using it almost daily to wash the oil and grime off my face during the evening. I love this because it is made of silicone so bacteria cannot grow or linger on it-it is also super gentle on the skin so it gives a light exfoliation yet a deeper cleanse than what you would get using your hands. This particular one has a hole for your finger to slide in and maneuver along the face easily. Highly recommend!

I hope you enjoyed this monthly post. If anyone is trying anything amazing this month, please share below!

Etude House: Brow Tint Review

I have no eyebrows. So I either have full drawn-in brows or none at all and it is time-consuming and just annoying to have to draw them in every single morning. Monday-Friday I am brow-less but it would be nice  to have a little bit of filling so there is some shape to them. I was seeing this brow tint from Etude House floating in the beauty world and decided to purchase it on Amazon and try it out!IMG_3180_Fotor.jpg

What exactly does it do?

It is a brow. tint. Haha. So it essentially tints the bare areas on on your eyebrow so it gives the illusion of being fuller without having to actually pencil them in. It reminds me of henna, but for the brows.

Does it work?

Yes! It actually does. It also depends on how long you leave the tint on your eyebrows. The packaging suggests for it to be on the brows for at least 2 hours but I sleep with mine over night. It ALSO depends on what you use to cleanse your face with. They suggest not using any cleansers or anything abrasive on the brows for the first 24 hours so the tint can really sink in I guess. On my first try, I accidentally used an oil-based makeup remover all over my face and over my brows and that took off 80% of it.

imageedit_21_5518881395.jpgimageedit_23_3182841561.jpgimageedit_25_4321035169.jpg

Price/Consistency

I purchased mine on Amazon for around $7 for 0.5 fl oz. It is not a lot of product but I consider it a decent price for something that you only use once or twice a week. One of the most talked about aspect about this product is the consistency. It is a very thick, viscous liquid that you spread onto your brows. It takes a minute to understand how to work with it but it’s extremely manageable, especially because if you make a mistake, you can simply wipe off with a tissue or Q-tip. No biggie.

imageedit_13_2380504686.jpgimageedit_19_2667615372.jpg

How long does it last?

Again, it depends. If you are constantly rubbing your eyebrows and using makeup remover or a strong facial cleanser on them, it’s going to wear off faster. I’ve heard the average person usually can keep the stain for about a week. I plan on doing mine every Sunday evening so I have fresh ones for work. The first few days are great-I barely fill them in and if I do, it takes half the time I usually spend. As it fades, I fill them in more but it still does not take nearly as much time to draw them in from scratch.

Can it pull your hairs off?

For me, no. Unfortunately, I did read some reviews about people hairs coming off when removing the tint. I found this really odd because after sleeping with the tint overnight, mine peeled off very gently from my skin. The directions on the packaging specifically say to peel GENTLY from the inner brow to the outer brow. You do not just rip it off like a band-aid.

What shade should I get?

They have a variety of shades on the Etude House website but I purchased #3 Grey Brown- I believe this is the darkest tint they have. Don’t be surprised if the color of the tint is almost black. You’re eyebrows WILL NOT be that dark. Remember, it is only a tint so it is just staining you’re brows.

Is it worth it? Will I keep using it?

Yes and Yes! This is a product that people should at least try if they suffer from naked/sparse brows. It really is a time-saver and it’s also kind of fun to put on. For just $7 a pop, it’s something worth trying!

If you have tried any other brow tints, please let me know! I would love to test out other brands that carry brow tints.

Blotted Lips | Colourpop Cosmetics First Impressions

oooh I bought some of Colourpop’s new Blotted Lips and I was so excited when I got them in the mail the other day! Don’t get me wrong, I love their lippies and ultra satin’s but these new Blotted Lip products looked extremely wearable, comfortable, and long-lasting. I also appreciated how these reminded me of Korean lip products where they focus more on a “just-bitten”, gradient-like effect on the lips.

IMG_3161_Fotor.jpg

packaging

So cute! They are smaller than the usual Lippie Stix and the liquid lips, but I actually like how cute and compact it is. The only con is that they are a tad difficult to completely close-the cap never seems to click as easily as their lippie stix. It is not something that bothers me but thought it was worth mentioning.

IMG_3164_Fotor.jpg

IMG_3168_Fotor.jpg

formula

As you can see, these are not your typical lippies. They are a lot less creamy to give you that stained look on your lips. Applying is not the easiest because of this creamy consistency-this new line seems to be made to give the lips a tinted, stained look. The swatches above were 2 layers. I do like how you don’t have to be perfect with outlining your lip shape since this isn’t a liquid or lipstick formula. It’s best to apply like a chapstick all over the lips or to dab the product on. I found myself focusing only on the inner areas of the lips to create a gradient effect.

IMG_3165_Fotor.jpg

wear

For me, it holds up quite nicely. It is super comfortable because it’s not liquid or creamy, it really just feels like you have nothing on your lips. Does anyone else hate how dry and uncomfortable some lipsticks can get? I wore mine for a good 5-6 hours and decided to reapply after eating and drinking.

IMG_3173_Fotor.jpg

For five bucks a pop, I think these are a bargain for people who want to add a quick tint to your lips. They are build able, easy-to-use, compact, and does exactly what they are made to do. Definitely worth a try!

A Lil’ Colourpop Haul | Pressed Shadows

Colourpop released individual pressed shadows recently and I purchased a few that looked amazing and were available. Each were $5 which is a great price for the quality of them. I also bought a super shock shadow and stocked up on my favorite brow pencil.

IMG_3034_Fotor.jpg

IMG_3022_Fotor.jpg

t o p  n o t c h | matte

A matte terracotta brown shade. I don’t think I have a shade like this in my collection and I absolutely love it! It’s smooth, easy to blend, and very little fall out. A quality eyeshadow for an awesome price indeed.

IMG_3024_Fotor.jpg

c o m e  and  g e t  it | metallic

A rose gold metallic shade. Another shade that I do not own but am so glad I got. It’s not super pigmented which I like so it is beautiful all over the lids or to use in the inner corner of the eyes to brighten.

IMG_3026_Fotor.jpg

n o t e  to  s e l f | matte

A matte warm caramel shade. Definitely can be used as a transition color, on it’s own, or to give some depth to the eyes. Such an easy one to work with-it does have the most fallout as the other two but definitely not a problem.

IMG_3028_Fotor.jpg

k a t h l e e n l i g h t s | super shock

My favorite shadow from the bunch. This is a VERY pigmented, buttery, glitter-intense golden copper shade. I would definitely be wearing this on the lids or the inner corners of my eyes to have them pop!

IMG_3040_Fotor.jpg

(apologies for the horrible swatch pic. Top notch got smeared and I didn’t realize until after I took the picture haha)

b a n g i n brunette | brown pencil

Still my favorite brow pencil-it is soft, pigmented,  and stays on brows all day long. They are only $5 each so I always buy 2 or 3 whenever I purchase from Colourpop. I like these brow pencils more than the coveted (and way more pricey) Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz.

I think this is my 4th post about Colourpop on my blog. Can you tell I love the brand? lol.

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer | First Impression

IMG_2997_Fotor.jpg

Yowzie I FINALLY got my greedy hands on the Tarte Double Duty Beauty Shape Tape Contour concealer (did not know that was the full name lol) that was incredibly hyped up and making the beauty world go crazy. To be fair, I actually did try purchasing this numerous times when I first started hearing about it but it was also ridiculously difficult to purchase my shade-it was sold out every time. I eventually forgot about it and popped into Ulta the other day and saw the Tarte shelves packed with them! So let’s get on to the first impression…

IMG_2999_Fotor.jpg

Price

This concealer is $24 and you get 0.33 oz of product. I don’t know about ya’ll but the price is not bad! The Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless concealer is only 0.16 oz and $28. The NARS Radiant Creamy concealer is 0.22 oz and $30. I am just comparing it to other concealers that I have used and loved in the past. Strictly talking about product/price-you are getting more product for less money with this one.

IMG_3001_Fotor.jpg

Packaging

Nothing too different except for the significantly larger applicator. I actually like the bigger applicator: it covers more surface area and if you only have small areas to conceal, just use the tip of it.

IMG_3003_Fotor.jpg

Consistency

This has a thick consistency and does take a litttllleeee more time to blend then other concealers but trust me, it is worth it. I have actually seen and read very few reviews that people did not enjoy it because how thick it is (that’s what she said). I personally don’t care/have not noticed a big difference.

IMG_3007_Fotor_Fotor_Collage.jpg

What it Does/Wear

On the Ulta website, it claims to be able to conceal, contour, and/or highlight-depending on what shade you get obviously. It is supposed to be hydrating, long-wearing, and crease-free. I personally would use this for concealing acne scars and to highlight under the eyes. Coverage wise-amazing. It literally covers up the current acne residue on my cheeks seamlessly. I wore it throughout the day and it did not budge at all! It ALSO did not break me out which was great. Hydrating wise-not so sure…I normally don’t have dry skin so my face doesn’t need hydration haha. I might have to try applying this to my dry spots around the mouth to test the hydration part.

 Overall

Love it. Highly recommend it. Easily one of the best concealers I have used yet. Get it. Try it. Enjoy it.

Byeeee!

January 2017 Favorites

January favorites…

I’m going to be honest, the things that I have been loving this month are mostly all from my Winter Skincare Routine post. I do have some new bits and pieces that I would like to share though!

IMG_2982_Fotor.jpg

Aztec Indian Healing Clay Mask

This was in my Winter Skincare routine blog post and it is an amazing clay mask! It is made purely of calcium benzonite powder. To be able to be utilize the full effects of this mask, it is best to mix the powder with an equal portion of apple cider vinegar. I like to use non-metal bowls/spoons when making my masks because it can make the clay powder lose its efficacy. It’s true when it claims to “pulsate” your face. It is extremely strong and tightens/draws your skin. I only use this a maximum of twice per week and I really feel like it draws any impurities from your skin. It’s also only around $8 for a tub that could last years! I got mine from Whole Foods and can be sold online or any natural/herb store.

IMG_2984_Fotor.jpg

Rimmel Finish Foundation with Comfort Serum

This foundation has been my go-to ever since around December. It is great for oily/combo skin and with my trouble with dry patches, the comfort serum formula in this foundation has been really helpful. I strayed away from my usual L’oreal Infallible Matte foundation for a few months now since it was accentuating my flaky patches. It claims to be a 25 hour formula but I honestly don’t think it can last that long on me. I also don’t wear foundation for longer than 8 hours so this doesn’t apply to me. Coverage is medium and buildable. Just a great, affordable, comfortable drugstore foundation!

Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer/Highlighter

I have never really heard anything about this product but I really enjoy it! I use mine as an under eye highlight instead of a concealer. It blends just as well as the coveted Maybelline Age Rewinder and I think it’s cheaper too. Rimmel face products are surprisingly awesome. I’ve been a fan of their lipsticks but their face stuff is amazing!

IMG_2987_Fotor.jpg

Morphe E27 Blending Eyeshadow Brush

The BEST eyeshadow blending brush EVER. Not only is this affordable, but also incredibly easy to use. This is a great beginner brush for makeup noobies as it makes blending a breeze. I love how dense and soft it is. I find myself only using this brush when applying eyeshadow because it’s just that great. This also was/is really hyped up in the beauty guru world and was the reason why I purchased it to begin with. Best $7 investment ever!

IMG_2990_Fotor.jpg

Celestone-G Cream | Korean Cream

If you have acne problems and don’t know where else to turn, this is something you might want to try. I have been using the Celestone-G Korean Cream ever since my teenage years and I have fallen in love with it again this month. I honestly don’t know much about the formula so please do your research on this before trying it. I have moderately sensitive skin and this product works great with my acne. Whenever I have some new ones, I just pop some of the cream on my spots, sleep, and they are noticeably smaller the next morning.

Lemon/Sugar Acne Body Scrub

A goal of mine this year is to control/eliminate my body acne/scars. I have them on my chest and back primarily and after my sister experimented with the lemon sugar scrub for a few months, I decided to try as well. I have only been doing it for almost a month and my boyfriend already notices a difference with my skin. I also noticed that I was getting less breakouts!

Champion Sweaters

It’s been cold in SoCal and it was sweater weather for some time. I live in sweaters and my favorite brand is Champion. Some like soft sweaters that drape over you but I have always loved thick, structured ones. I find them more comfortable and they seem to last longer through washes because they are sturdy. This is a super random favorite but I have been wearing them all day every day in January.

IMG_2991_Fotor.jpg

Wet Brush

I am finally using a proper wet brush for my hair after showering. Another one of my goals this year is to take care of my hair. I honestly have never cared for it but I was starting to notice all the baby hairs due to breakage all over my head and decided to start caring more haha. The wet brush I have is from Target and was only $6. The main difference between a wet brush and a regular brush are the flexible bristles that don’t tug on the hair. It’s definitely something to try if you are noticing a lot of dry, hair breakage!

IMG_2995_Fotor.jpg

I hope you enjoyed my monthly roundup-what are your favorites from January?

ABH Modern Renaissance Palette Review

Friends,

I received an early birthday gift from my boyfriend and it was something that I wanted ever since it came out. First of all, can we all just look at these shades. Look. at. these. shades. I have heard some people who didn’t like all the berry tones but I’ve done so many looks with it already. You can do anything from a dark smokey eye to a fun, colorful look. So many pros to this gorgeous palette so let’s get to it!

IMG_2934_Fotor.jpg

Pros

1 Pigmentation/Formula

The formula of these shades are out of this world. Smooth, buttery, blendable, and very pigmented. I literally have to hover my eyeshadow brush over the pan and brush ever so lightly or else I will get a shit load of pigment. The shadows blend so effortlessly and the colors complement each other in so many ways.IMG_2930_Fotor.jpgIMG_2932_Fotor.jpg

2 Packaging

The packaging is simple and pretty. Love the mirror size and how light the palette is. The pink, velvety outside is a cute touch to it as well.

3 Price

This palette is $42 and comes with 14, .02 oz shades. .02 oz sounds really little but you’re getting 14 amazing colors. For how good the quality of the shades are I think this is a really decent price for this palette. Their pigmentation also plays a huge role as you do not need much product at all for application. The Urban Decay naked palette’s are around $54 each and although each shade has a larger pan, there are two fewer shades. I also think that the quality of the shades in the Modern Renaissance is better than the Naked Palette ones. (**Sidenote: I am only comparing the Modern Renaissance to the Naked palettes because those are the only palettes I own haha** )

4 Wear

Like I mentioned above, these shades can give you a variety of looks. They are also long-lasting and do not crease on my lids. Granted I do wear shadow primer, but hot dang these shadows just stick to you lids all day long. I’m in love.

5 Colors

Wowzies. That’s all I have to say. The shades are beautiful (as you can tell below) and work/blend together seamlessly. I was a little scared of how many berry tones there were but after using it multiple times, I was able to create so many looks with it. This is a great year-round palette; lovely red shades for the fall, bright looks for the summer, smokey eyes for winter, and colorful lids for the spring. JUST PERFECTION.

IMG_2936_Fotor.jpgIMG_2940_Fotor.jpg

Con

1 Fallout

The ONLY LITTLE CON that I could honestly think of was the amount of fallout. These shadows have a quite a bit of it but it honestly doesn’t bother me at all. Some people are quite picky about this which is why I wanted to mention it. Even though I just graze my brush lightly on top of the pan, there is still a lot of loose pigment that gathers on top.

As you can tell,  I am obsessed with this palette and it is my favorite one in my little collection so far. If there is one palette that you want to purchase (especially if you are a little new to the makeup world), I would highly recommend this. It’s great for people who are just beginning because you get all these shades in one palette and they are so easy to work with. You can even use some of the lighter/shimmery shades as highlights as well. The Modern Renaissance will most definitely be lovingly used (and abused) by me haha.

Mini Drugstore Makeup Haul

Friends!

I am here with a little drugstore haul post (that is much overdue). I got these bits and pieces a while back and have been loving most of them!

1.

NYC Smooth Skin Translucent Powder

IMG_2916_Fotor.jpg

Wowzies…this stuff is amazing for such a great price ($4!). It is awesome for people who like to bake their face (yes, I have finally started baking my face hahaha). It does a great job mattifying the face and leaving it very smooth and natural-looking. I have been going for this powder this whole month rather than my usual Rimmel Stay Matte Powder.

2.

Wet N’ Wild Bronzer

IMG_2915_Fotor.jpg

This massive bronzer was only $4 at Target and gives me a warm, sun-kissed face. It applies nicely on the skin and leaves a gentle hue to your skin. I don’t usually like to contour too much so I like to use this with a big fluffy brush around my cheekbones and forehead for a subtle bronzed look. Me like!

3.

Wet N’ Wild Blush in “Apri-cot in the Middle”

IMG_2914_Fotor.jpg

I am not much of a blush person but I saw these Wet N’ Wild Coloricon blushes for only $2.99 so I wanted to try one. I got the shade “Apricot” and it’s the perfect “not too pinky” shade that gives you a natural flushed look. I’m not a fan of having pink cheeks, so this shade is perfect for me. It is not the most pigmented, but it’s worth the price!

IMG_2918_Fotor.jpg

4.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation with Comfort Serum

IMG_2913_Fotor.jpg

This $7.99 foundation is such a bargain. Definitely for people who have dry to oily combination skin. NOT for people with super oily skin since it does have a slight dewy finish (hence the comfort serum). I’ve always been quite oily but with the weird weather changes, my skin has developed into a more oily combo skin with dry patches. I find this foundation so comfortable, especially after a good powdering. It lasts for a good 8 hours one me, though it claims to be 25 hour-lasting (I don’t think I will ever wear makeup for that long anyways lol). Overall, a solid drugstore foundation for those who are in a budget!

5.

Ultra Super Blender Sponge Applicator

IMG_2917_Fotor.jpg

This is the only item that was technically not from a drugstore but I still wanted to include it. This is meh. I was not too fond of the shape and I think it was $4.99 at Ulta. I wanted to try a different sponge applicator and the quality is not worth the $5. Super absorbent (esp with foundation) and I already found a little rip in it after washing it once. I felt like I was putting little to no foundation on my skin which is a bummer. I think there are Real Techniques sponges that are around the same price and far better!

I promise to try and upload more!

Clinique Take the Day Off Balm | Review

heya friends!

Woo wee, it’s been a while. I haven’t posted in almost a month which is crazy because I used to post multiple times a week. I actually got a new job so I’ve been busy adjusting and pretty much trying to organize my life. Nonetheless, I am back and I have a review on the Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm today. I know boys and gals, I’m super late on trying this heavenly product but I finally got it and I love it.

IMG_2897.JPG

Price & Packaging

  • $29 at Ulta for a 3.8 oz acrylic/plastic container.
  • It is a balm so you have to use clean fingers to pick up the product. Some prefer the oil version of this but I actually did try that before and it didn’t work as well for some reason.

Consistency, Scent, Efficacy

  • You apply it on dry skin as a solid balm and it dissolves into a nice oil consistency as you massage it around your face.
  • Absolutely no scent.
  • Literally takes off ALL makeup. Waterproof makeup, makeup with sunscreen, long-lasting makeup, etc…

IMG_2901.JPG

Pros

  • I love how there is no scent.
  • It is perfect for sensitive skin. I massage it gently around my eyes and it never stings my eyeballs.
  • Non-drying and non-greasy formula.
  • The price is good for what you get. I don’t wear makeup every day so I can see myself using this tub for quite some time.
  • Gently emulsifies all makeup with no tugging or scrubbing of the skin. (BIG PRO.)

Cons

  • Some people don’t like the balm consistency since you do need to dip your fingers in every time. Like I mentioned above, they do have a cleansing oil with the same exact formula if you want something easier.

All in all, where has this product been all my life?! Literally all over the beauty world and social media haha. I’m so glad I finally decided to purchase one. This is the ONLY makeup cleanser I use now. No more cotton rounds or makeup wipes for meeeeee. Please like or comment if you love this product or if this post makes you want it 😉

Btw, I am determined to post more often!

xx,
