Sean and I visited the Art District in Los Angeles this past weekend; we never venture to L.A. very much for some reason so we decided to try something a little different. The Art District is near Little Tokyo in Eastern L.A.; there are blocks of street art, hipster coffee cafes to choose from, and hidden lounge gems. Very interesting and very cool.
Started off with some good ole’ coffee from Blue Bottle Coffee. I got a New Orleans iced coffee and Sean got a simple black iced coffee. This place is a must for coffee lovers!
We stumbled upon a lot of hidden clothing/accessory/book shops. Of course, the interior of each nook was beautifully designed. All of them gave off a rustic/modern ambience.
Even the floors of the shops were picture worthy…
Of course we stumbled upon neat, vibrant, mosaic-like street art. This was my favorite 🙂
And it cannot be a worthwhile trip to the Art District without having a bite from Urth Caffe. This was my third time visiting Urth and it never fails to have delicious salads and yummy muffins~
Overall, it was a sweet and simple trip; parking was a little difficult and there is quite a bit of walking involved. Totally worth it though!
I might be posting a vlog on Youtube soon with more details from this trip! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiCJ_8K0iq4wfvvQLe_VA2A
